Erykah Badu Will Host a Natural Hair Parade
If you have natural hair and are planning to be in the Dallas, Texas area on September 3rd, you may want to get your tickets to the Natural Hair Parade & Festival which will be hosted by singer Erykah Badu.
Dallas hairstylist, Isis Brantley, is the creator behind the parade.
“We’re calling for sponsors, schools, churches, community organizations, bands, clubs, parents, and children of all ages to join us as we celebrate and share knowledge,” said Brantley in a press release.
Badu has made it her challenge to get 400 people to march in the parade, and to help reach this goal, Brantley wants ladies to tweet out this message: “Natural Hair Parade& Festival by @NaturallyIsis Sept. 3, 2011 Dallas, TX #NaturalHair #LaborofLove FREE RSVP.”
