You don’t know the name Chadwick Boseman yet. But you will soon. 

TheHollywoodnewcomer has been cast to star in the Jackie Robinson biopic “42.” 42 is the number that Robinson wore when he became the first African-American to play Major League Baseball.

Boseman has appeared in shows such as ‘Fringe,’ ‘Justified’ and ‘Castle.’ “42” won’t be his first sports film. He was also in the “The Express,” which documented the life ofSyracuserunning back Ernie Davis.

Joining Boseman in the film will be Harrison Ford, who will play Branch Rickey. Rickey was the baseball executive who in 1947, signed Robinson to the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Robinson’s widow, Rachel Robinson, will serve as a consultant during the film’s production.
