Glowing Goddess

Have you ever wanted beautiful glowing skin like Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian or Beyonce?

As an image specialist, the first lesson I teach my clients is the importance of healthy and beautiful skin. Your personal image (including skincare) speaks on your behalf before you have the opportunity to introduce yourself. Here are a few steps to achieve gorgeous glowing skin!

Step 1: Cleansing- Start with the basics! Damp your face first with warm water to loosen dirt and clogged pores. Use a dime-sized bit of cleanser, and then rinse with lukewarm water. Never wash your face with hot or cold water (both can cause broken capillaries). It’s extremely important to use a gentle face wash. (Buy a mild yet gentle face wash for your skin.)

Step 2: Exfoliate- Start by damping your face with water and then use a loofah, exfoliating gloves or a scrubbing sponge designed for the face. Rub your face with the loofah or sponge using circular motions and then rinse with warm water. (Note: Avoid scrubbing under the eyes, the skin there is thin and can easily be damaged by abrasive cleansers.)

Step 3: Moisturize- No matter your skin type, we should all moisturize. Moisturizers prevent and treat dry skin and on the most basic level, moisturizers hold water in the outermost layer of the skin leaving your skin hydrated and looking youthful.

Regardless of your age, this regimen is essential in achieving firm and healthy skin. Do Step 1 & 3 daily and step 2 once a week. Be sure to increase your water consumption and avoid sodas for beautiful skin.
