Kimora Lee Simmons Launches Skincare Line
After leaving Baby Phat, fashion designer and entrepreneur Kimora Lee Simmons has set her sights on other ventures, the first being the launch of her skincare line Shinto Clinical.
Shinto Clinical fuses Eastern skincare ingredients such as fish oil, omegas, pearl powder, Wakame kelp extract and beta glucan with Western skincare technological advances. It will have nine pieces and is set to make its debut February 24th on QVC and in Nordstrom and Fred Segal in late February or early March.
“This line is about their Eastern allure of diet and beautiful skin,” said Kimora.
“It’s based on cultures that live from the sea. The Western [influence] is the medicine, the efficacy, the delivery and clinical results. That’s why we call this Shinto Clinical; this is really a clinical range.”
The skincare line also features a pore concealer called Pore It Out and an anti-age peptide toner, Watch Your Tone. The prices range from $32 to $68.
